Main working field(s) of the Job-shadowing activity

The job shadowing is mainly focused on health care and language teaching in different types of schools. However, it is possible to have an insight into the training of other professions at our vocational training centre (e.g. shop assistance/retail, warehouse managers, industrial clerks).

Good practice or activities to share

Work-based learning, i.e. students get the theoretical training at our school and the practical training at the nursing homes, kindergartens and/or other institutions. This needs strong cooperation.

Expectations for future collaborations

In the future, we would like to exchange students as well as staff and maybe implement international online activities.

Expectations regarding the profile of staff to host

Since our school offers training for different professions, we are open to candidates who teach in the above-mentioned areas.

Overall program for the job-shadowing opportunity

The program will mainly consist of classes with VET students (in different types of schools) and meetings with colleagues and staff. Depending on the epidemiological situation and its possible restrictions it might be possible to visit our cooperation partners.

IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD

It is possible to receive up to two teachers in March 2022
