The Technical School for Food Industry – Yambol was established in 1963 for training professionals for the local industry. The education is initially held in 4 classrooms of TMT “D. Dimov” Yambol.
In 1970, a new school building was opened with more classrooms, laboratories and sport complex. For a short time the technical education has become an attractive opportunity, new professions and specialties have been introduced, which led to an increased number of new students.
Over the years the school has trained over 4000 specialists – technologists, technicians, operators, apparatchiks, laboratory assistants for all sub-sectors of the food industry – hoteliers, pastry chefs, confectioners, chefs, bartenders and waiters. Today the school can be proud of its modern material and technical base, with its qualified pedagogical team and with the provided education in accordance with the requirements of the market economy.
