– The use of EV’naR. An augmented reality software (developed by 2 VET schools) for hololens, used to learn how to discharge an electrical vehicle. – Diagnose Car. A system that brings recent vehicles and innovation in Flemish schools for diagnostics training (started up by 1 VET school and works now for 95% of Flanders schools). – Green power, building of and racing with electric karts. Project with students from car mechanics and other study pathways. – Hydrogen is the future, an example of an adapted working area – The use of a Toyota plugin hybrid prepared with simulated problems.

Mainly KA1 short term exchanges of students, all VET fields.

Teachers, coordinators of car mechanic pathways with technical background and interest in (teaching about) new propulsion systems.
Overall program for the job-shadowing opportunity
– 0.5 day: Welcome and situating the Flanders VET reality
– 0.5 day: Following a class with pupils + meeting and testing the application: The use of EV’naR. An augmented reality software (developed by 2 VET schools) for hololens was used to learn how to discharge an electrical vehicle.
– 0.5 day: Meeting with colleagues and staff: Diagnose Car. A system that brings recent vehicles and innovation in Flemish schools for diagnostics training (started up by 1 VET school and works now for 95% of Flanders schools).
– 0.5 day: Meeting with Belgian organizer and colleagues: Green power, the building of and racing with electric karts for VET students. Project with students from car mechanics and other study pathways.
– 1 day: Hydrogen is the future, an example of an adapted working area + Hybrid and electric vehicles safety training by Educam
– 1 day: Class with pupils + meeting with colleagues: The use of a Toyota plugin hybrid prepared with simulated problems.
– 0.5 days: A visit to the factory of Audi Vorst (production of E-Tron)
– 0.5 days: A visit to Autoworld in Brussels.
